Delta Air Lines inaugurated one of two new nonstop flights from Detroit to Asia Monday, June 1, 2010 with a celebration marking the first trip directly from Detroit Metro Airport to Seoul, South Korea, departing this afternoon. Sunpok Choi of Farmington Hills hands out fans to passengers boarding Delta Airline’s first direct flight to Seoul at the McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Choi is a customer service agent and Korean translator for Delta Airlines.
