Haj flights more expensive

The Pakistan Haj Organisers Federation PHOF said yesterday that national carrier Pakistan International Airlines has not reduced the Haj pilgrimage fare despite insistence by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and instead has increased it by 20% adding to the worries and problems of intending pilgrims. The PHOF warned that if the national airline did not reduce the fare they will move the court. PHOF senior-vice chairman and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chairman Kamran Zeb said that the PIA was charging Rs74,000 per person last year for the return airfare to Saudi Arabia and had now raised it  Rs90,000.
