Firefly, the community airline, on Thursday announced additional flights during for the coming Hari Raya festive period.The extra flights are from Subang to Kota Baharu and vice versa on Sept 7, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19, and from Singapore to Ipoh and vice versa on Sept 8 and 9, it said in a statement.Firefly’s head of marketing and communication Department, Angelina Fernandes, said the airline was working hard to ensure that all their customers get home safely in time for their family reunion.Beside additional flights, Firefly is currently operating 33 times weekly from Subang to Kota Baharu and the daily flights from Singapore to Ipoh will be increased to 11 times weekly.To celebrate Hari Raya, Firefly is offering the Balik Kampung special promotion fare from as low as RM45 from now until August 26 for the travel period from now until end of September 2010.
