Flight to London-Singapore affected by UK snow

Changi Airport Group has said no flights from London will be arriving in Singapore on Sunday. It said all flights scheduled to arrive in Singapore from London on Sunday have either been cancelled or retimed to Monday due to the snowstorm in the UK.It added that all six arriving flights have been affected, including one cancelled British Airways flight from London.

There are also three SIA flights and two Qantas flights from London that have been retimed to Monday. On Sunday morning, Mr and Mrs Leow went online to check that their son’s flight from London was arriving on schedule before heading to Changi Airport to pick him up and they were more than just disappointed they won’t see their son just yet. It’s inconvenient. Because when I went into the computer, it showed that the arrival time is 9:15am, then we travel all the way here, it’s a waste of time, said Mr Leow.

As for departures, a British Airways flight scheduled to fly to London on Sunday night has been cancelled. All other departing flights to London from Singapore on Sunday have not been affected yet.Singapore Airlines says one of its flights which left for London on Sunday had to turn back to Singapore.
Two other SIA flights which left on Saturday for London were diverted to Frankfurt and Zurich.Flights from Frankfurt and Amsterdam to Singapore have also been delayed.
