The Lahore airport was opened on Sunday morning for schedule flights as continued spell of dense fog in Punjab receded.The fog continued to engulf the province for many days causing accidents and nuisances.The flight operations at Allama Iqbal International Airport were also suspended till 9am, Sunday.
The motorway too was closed for all kinds of traffic to avoid any mishap.However, the density the fog dropped, following which flight operation started as per schedule.
