PIA Airlines starts flights to Zahedan

Pakistan International Airlines started its flight operations for Zahedan, Iran, on Saturday.The first flight, PK196 departed from Karachi for Quetta and then onwards for Zahedan.A ceremony was held at Quetta Airport to mark the occasion.

The passengers were seen off by chief guest Shama Parveen Magsi, Provincial Minister Information for Technology and Coordination Balochistan, Consul General of Iran, Seyed Hassan Yahyavi, and PIA’s General Manager Passenger Sales, Rashid Farookee, and other PIA officials.The flight’s passengers were welcomed at Zahedan by PIA’s Regional Manager Gulf and Central Asia, Ali Tahir Qasim.The governor of Zahedan was the chief guest at the occasion.
