Daily flight between Pueblo and Denver in June

Great Lakes Airlines on Thursday announced plans to add a fourth daily flight between Pueblo and Denver starting in June.Pueblo Aviation Director Mark Lovin said the addition of a fourth weekday flight reflects heavier use of Pueblo Memorial Airport.Further, the additional flight will allow Great Lakes to better spread out its arrival and departure times throughout the day, he said.

The airline operates 19-passenger regional airplanes.Flight 5191 will begin on June 9.The flight will depart Denver International Airport at 9:35 a.m. and arrive in Pueblo at 10:16 a.m.The flight will leave Pueblo at 10:26 a.m. and arrive back in Denver at 11:05 a.m.We are very excited Great Lakes Airlines has chosen Pueblo to add additional daily service to Denver,Lovin said.Recently, Great Lakes has experienced significant growth in the Pueblo market and we expect the timing of this flight to be particularly attractive for our customers.Great Lakes is an important business partner in the continued growth and development of Pueblo Memorial Airport.

Great Lakes maintains connecting service agreements with major airlines, including United and Frontier airlines in Denver. Also on Thursday, Great Lakes released a revised schedule that will take effect June 9 with the addition of the fourth midweek flight.Weekday flights from Pueblo to Denver will depart at 6:10 a.m., 10:26 a.m., 1:25 p.m. and 5:29 p.m. A reduced schedule of flights depart on Saturday and Sunday.Weekday return flights to Pueblo will depart Denver at 9:35 a.m., 12:35 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. A reduced schedule of return flights operate on weekends.Flight times take about 40 minutes each way.Cheyenne, Wyo.-based Great Lakes Aviation operates passenger airplane service at 56 airports in 15 states.
