American Airlines will resume its flights from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Port au Prince, Haiti, on Feb. 19, and its American Eagle subsidiary will add new flights to Haiti from the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

New American Eagle flights will operate daily from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo and Santiago, Dominican Republic, to Port au Prince beginning on March 12.A great sign that commercial air service is being resumed and some sense of normalcy is being restored to Haiti.
